Social adult day care services are an important component of the community-based services that help delay or prevent nursing home placement and allow loved ones to remain in their neighborhood settings.
CareWay Social Day Care Center provides for the needs of the geriatric population by offering non-medical services, as well as support and respite to caregivers.
We provide a structured, comprehensive program that offers socialization, supervision and monitoring, personal care, and nutrition assistance. Additional services include, but are not limited to: maintenance and enhancement of daily living skills, transportation, caregiver assistance and case coordination and assistance.

CareWay’s Social Adult Day Care will encourage your loved ones to develop the skill sets necessary for independence and self-care. Our program and facility offer a safe and secure environment where participants are kept both mentally and physically stimulated.
Our five hour daily programs are developed around the language and cultural background of our members, to promote growth and enjoyment throughout the day. CareWay will ensure you or your loved one receives the attention they want and deserve.
CareWay aides are available to assist with eating, mobility, toileting, or transferring.
We provide door to door transportation as well as hot nutritious meals under the supervision of a registered dietician.
Our social workers develop an individualized care plan to ensure each participant maximizes their potential in our program.
Our recreation department features activities that stimulate cognitive functioning, including arts and crafts,, exercise sessions, pet therapy, computer classes and much more! We offer salon services, as well as laundry and shower facilities to all of our participants.
